Name: Jang Kyung-Hee (surname forename)
Gender: Female
Age: early 20's
Family Members:
Kyung-sook - eldest sister, currently acting as a secretary in her father's company, Kyung-sook is very business-minded, and is unofficially taking care of a huge portion of the company.
Kyung-ok - second elder sister, Kyung-ok is a typical spoiled shopaholic rich girl. Shopping appears to be the only real joy she has in life.
Kyung-ja - younger sister, she is older than their youngest and a decently good kid, but she is rather ditzy and more than a little bit of an airhead.
Kyung-chul - younger brother, slated to take over the company when he grows old enough.
Personality:
The easiest thing to say about Kyung-hee is that she knows how to tailor her behavior. To employees, she is impatient, curt, and to-the-point, with her family she is cold but quiet, while with those who would claim to be her peers, she is pleasant, appears to remember things people tell her very attentively, but somehow unapproachable, never really considered close with anyone. In truth, Kyung-hee is rather disdainful of and impatient with other people. She is a little entitled, but uses her resources well, being extremely smart, genuinely attentive, and having keen instincts for people's characters. In other words, she sees past the image most people project, and easily picks out their darkest secrets and their less pleasant motivations or insecurities, though often ignoring or missing the things that are truly good about people. She does not trust others easily, which only contributes to her very private personality. That same private personality, however, is also what gets her to hold her tongue, and as poorly as she thinks of people, she keeps that unpleasant commentary to herself. What business is it of hers if people are awful anyways?
Biography:
Kyung-hee has always known that she was blessed. As the third of five children of one of the wealthiest companies in Korea, she has never wanted for anything, but also nothing has ever been much required or expected of her. The family company sells state-of-the-art tech, and her father has always been insanely busy, throwing himself into work even further once her mother died in a car crash when Kyung-hee was 12. With her sisters also being the way that they are, Kyung-hee has never been close to anyone in her family besides her mother and her childhood friend, Ji-hyun, who appears to be everything she is not - kind, sweet, and perhaps a little naive. Kyung-hee's only truly valuable possession, in her estimation, is a dull ring her mother left her in her will, which she keeps on a chain around her neck.
Kyung-hee is a history major in her final years of college, and her friend Ji-hyun is an art major, but as a proper rich girl, Kyung-hee speaks several languages near fluently, including Japanese, Chinese, English, and French. She intends to one day start a company of her own as a branch of her father's, and grow wealthy enough to sponsor art galleries. When Ji-hyun's unassuming criminology major boyfriend In-taek gets murdered, however, she suddenly finds herself dragged into a world of conspiracies that may derail her life plan for good.
