Kyne Sand

An alternate version of this character is the legitimate third son of House Manwoody, whose mother was a lady of Drinkwater and his father's second wife. His mother died rather soon after in an accident while horse racing. His father's current wife is not the ailing Lady Jeanette Fowler, but the young and pretty new wife and mother, Lady Miralla Ladybright, who is 18 (and therefore significantly younger than both Kyne and his father). In the alternate version, there is no paramour.
