Nenet is a beautiful, half-djinni Egyptian woman in her early 20's. She has long, black hair, and pretty blue eyes that turn gold in the rare occasion she uses djinn magic. She looks exactly like her mother, except that her skin has a very very slight blue tint to her skin. She speaks perfect English with a British accent, having learned it this way in school, and sometimes acts as an interpreter for English-speaking witches and wizards visiting Egypt. She has never formally met her father, though she has bumped into him several times, as he has taken the form of various animals and people and come to watch over her throughout her life, especially after her mother died of ovarian cancer 3 years ago.

Nenet never knew her father, but that didn't mean her parents' relationship was bad. Before she was born, the two of them were deep in slap-kiss love, polar opposites that would argue with each other just for fun. He'd pretend to be sorry, she'd pretend to forgive him, and they'd both laugh about it later. In fact, their deep relationship went back to when Nenet's mother was a child, living with her very wealthy, pureblood parents, who owned the djinn as a slave. She hasn't seen either of them since she freed him and ran away with him. The two of them never really truly lost their passion, but they certainly didn't expect to have a child, and Nenet's father decided that it was best, ultimately, if he didn't try to be a father to her, and left after a couple months. Nenet's mother respected this decision, but did tell Nenet that she was half-djinn (not that there has been much real indication she recognizes that she has any of his abilities).

Nenet is generally a soft-spoken, gentle, and polite woman, who doesn't like high-stress situations. Her main instincts under threat are protective of others, but she is a competent magic user, and can duel if she has to.
