Personality: Insecure sums up a big part of her. She is quiet and not one to show off much. She bows her head and lets people say what they want about her, refusing to retaliate and very slow to anger or action. She often feels insufficient, weak, and useless, and that often makes it difficult for her to make friends with other people. As her family worries about this, her brother pressured her into going into the competition. He is probably the only person who could, as she surprisingly enough also has a strong stubborn streak. Her hatred of public speaking is probably only surpassed by her hatred of guns and of ghosts.

Appearance: She has waist-length black hair that she keeps in a simple knotted ponytail (a ponytail that looks tied into a knot at its base), and very pale skin. Her eyes are dark brown, and appear slightly Asian, less in-set and slightly sharper than most Caucasians. She has a very small frame and build, measuring at 4'5" and 81lb (she's 12, remember?), and soft, rounded features, with high cheekbones. The slightly more Asian attributes are due to a Japanese great great great grandmother somewhere. Her brother is much taller and teases her incessantly.

Single or Taken: Single

Strengths: She's a very fast flier and loves to do acrobatic experiments on the broom - something Madame Hooch really hated about her classes with her. She's really sad now that she's no longer got flying classes, but doesn't believe herself good enough to get onto the Quidditch team, and her family isn't wealthy enough to get her a good broom, anyways. She is also a fairly good potions maker and lets insults slide off her back. She's also a good singer.

Weaknesses: She's not good with people, though she is okay with animals, and is especially poor at charms, hexes, and other magic that requires quick reflexes. They stress her out, and she often messes up. She's also bad at most sports, for this reason, and is poor at writing essays and explaining things in an organized fashion. Worst of all, she's afraid of ghosts. She hates History of Magic with a passion surpassing even what her bored classmates feel. Herbology is not exactly her best subject. Plants seem to like her far less than animals do.

Other information: She only ever feels confident about herself when she's on a broom or clambering over things. Her family goes full rugged-style camping for a week out of every year, which may explain her love of nature and her comfort with animals and the stars. She is familiar with the basic constellations, but doesn't intend to take Divination next year. I think the most important fact to know about her is that she has one Muggle older brother and had a Muggle younger brother. Her younger brother was shot and killed in a shooting when she was eight and he was six. He was hugging her when it happened, and incidentally may have saved her life because of it. The wandmaker that carelessly thrust the wand into her hand explained that it was probably for this reason that she could use a thestral hair wand. She still doesn't really get it.​
