Appearance: Caden has dark brown hair he keeps cropped short and golden-brown eyes. A kind of resting bitch face that veers towards the cool and contemptuous, particularly the case because his eyes tend towards the narrow side when calm. While somewhat petite for his age and gender, and not appearing particularly regal, he has a shrewd sort of smirky smile, and tends to sit and move with a casual, almost slouchy haughtiness.

Personality: Cautious/not trusting, at times impulsive, ruthless, efficient, slightly psychopathic, easily amused, mischievous, methodical/strategic.

Bio: Raised as a boy with loving, but strict parents with high expectations. Known since he was young as a prodigy with his studies as future king, and quite good with a bow and arrow, though only barely decent with a sword. Lost his parents in a carriage accident he suspected was orchestrated by one of an aristocratic party who thought a teenager would be easy to manipulate. Instead, became suspicious of pretty much everybody, and began developing an immunity to poison. Spent the next 5 years or so testing vassals for whether or not he could trust their information, and moving resources and honors around so suspicious people slowly lost power until he could safely prosecute anyone he had actual evidence against. Is now in a relatively stable position, after pushing economic growth very hard, but is still hyperparanoid about political opponents, old farts pushing him to get married to their daughters and have kids soon, and embezzlement or corruption going too far. Grew up with Gwenaelle and realized he loved her right before she headed off to school. Was tight fisted about management and did not do social events as a result of being too damned busy since he wouldn't delegate while she was gone. Did most of the prosecuting nobles stuff while she was away. Is not interested in getting married (to anyone except Gwenaelle) and even less so in having a child right now, because he still young dammit, and the second he has a kid, he suspects he'll be in the same position his mother and father were, especially considering he currently has no successors at all, since his father rose to the throne after deposing his childless weasel of an older brother who had killed off pretty much everyone else.
