Appearance: Stands at 5'6" and 126lb, skinny and lanky, but not awkward or delicate. Has grey, messy, short hair, but more strikingly almond-shaped golden eyes. Tends to wear loose, thin sweaters, and crinkled skinny jeans.

Weapons: He keeps a huge set of hidden weapons on his person at all times, all high-tech and of his own invention. His headphones and scarf choker thing are part of this ensemble. The headphones prevent sonic or shock waves from knocking him out, while the scarf/choker will repel metal. He very openly keeps a sword on his belt, which most people don’t know is actually one sheath with Twin Swords called Ssanggeom – Korean swords a bit like short katanas. He’s extremely skilled in using them precisely because he practices with them constantly, particularly when he’s in the middle of thinking of an invention design.

Power(s): None, but is a super genius inventor. Personality: Sharp and sarcastic, but extremely smart, he got a lot of enemies right off the bat. Not many people really like him because he pushes others away from him. That said, he cares deeply for younger children especially after having lost his brother. He doesn't care in the slightest what anyone else thinks of him and actually likes it that no one pays him any attention, very go-my-own-way, but he keeps well aware of how people see at him so he can use it against them. Even as a child, he was generally distant and a not always the most polite, despite his obsessive, brilliant mind. He's exactly the type of person for whom most things are easy for him to do without putting in a lot of effort, but he is passionate about his desire to destroy all supernaturals. He is not afraid of dying, and though he will fight to survive, does not really expect to live out his entire life expectancy. Around most people, he is quiet and even-tempered, unlikely to go out of his way to hurt people without provocation, but when provoked, he has a violent streak that is sometimes just barely held back by force of will and the thought of his brother, exacerbated by a hate-fueled lack of empathy for anyone. When facing supernaturals, this violent streak becomes an out-an-out sadism that is not pretty to witness.

History: He was born a prodigy of inventions, but only made things for his own pleasure. He had a younger brother (Eun Hwa) and loved his family with all his heart. However, both Naturals and Unnaturals realized quickly that he could be used for either of their purposes, and contacted his parents to see if they wouldn’t let him apprentice with them. A confrontation occurred and his parents and brother were killed by Unnaturals when he was four. He was there and he still remembers the blood hitting his face as a strike meant for a Natural went straight though his mother’s chest. This was when his distrust of all others was born. He knows that the Naturals in question were the first ones to attack, but he believes in responsibility for the result, which is why he doesn’t mind the thought that someone will kill him, someday. ((In other versions, he is much older when he loses his entire family, being eight when his brother is born, and his brother being three when he goes off and gets caught up in whatever supernatural beings are prevalent in this world, all three ending up dead. Usually after this, he goes mad and starts going on mad supernatural killing sprees.))

Other: He owns a grey snake that stays coiled around him at all times named Soo-young. She is his only companion, and only he can control her (in some versions she is mechanical and has other functions).

Brother's English name is Matheus, meaning God is with us, but his Korean name is more expected of girls, Eun meaning Kindness/charity.
